Step 1 of 5 — Mission

What Guardians of the AV is — and who we serve.

Guardians of the AV is a community coordination and recovery platform for the Antelope Valley. We work with cities, nonprofits, businesses, and people who are unsupported to create a system where stability is possible — not just for the lucky, but for anyone willing to take the first step.

We don’t move cash. We don’t hand out vouchers. We issue Guardian Credits — digital credits (Meal, Gear, Grooming, Laundry, Housing, Ride) redeemable only at verified vendors, only during fixed redemption windows.

The three redemption windows

Morning
8:30 – 10:30 AM
Meal + Gear credits
Afternoon
2:00 – 4:00 PM
All credit types
Evening
7:30 – 9:00 PM
Meal credits only

Fixed windows prevent abuse and keep redemptions predictable for your staff. You receive 14 days notice of any window change.

Who we serve

  • — Adults experiencing housing instability or being unsupported in the Antelope Valley
  • — People in recovery from addiction or incarceration
  • — Domestic violence survivors who need dignified, safe access to services
  • — Anyone navigating a gap in stability who wants a path forward

Every person who redeems credits at your business has been assigned a community navigator and is working through a trust ladder. They are not anonymous strangers — they are neighbors rebuilding stability.
