Register to vote online in California — including while unhoused (use a 'cross streets' descriptor)
What it does
Registers a Californian to vote. Unhoused residents can register with a cross-streets descriptor for their residence and a separate mailing address (or 'general delivery' at a post office). Same-day conditional voter registration is also available at any vote center.
Eligibility
U.S. citizen, age 18 or older on election day, California resident, not currently serving a state or federal prison sentence for a felony (parole no longer disqualifies as of Prop 17 in 2020).
